ROCK HILL, S.C. (WBTV) - It’s safe to say a Rock Hill man had a pretty good birthday after he scored a big $200,000 win on a scratch-off ticket.
The man -- whose name was not released -- won the big prize on a $5 “Ice Cold Bonus” ticket that he bought at the Quick Shop Food mart on Anderson Road North. He bought it the day before his birthday, but waited to scratch it.
“It was a great one,” he told state . “Unbelievable.”
The man said he is investing the prize money toward his future. After he claimed his winnings, one more $200,000 top prize remains in the “Ice Cold Bonus” game. The odds to win the top prize are one in 900,000.
The Quick Shop Food Mart in Rock Hill received a commission of $2,000 for selling the winning ticket.
