CHARLESTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Governor Patrick Morrisey has ordered flags to be flown at half-staff across West Virginia in memory of Charlie Kirk, the conservative activist and media personality who was killed this week.
Flags at all state facilities will be lowered beginning at noon on September 12, 2025, and remain at half-staff until sunset on the day of Kirk’s interment.
“I just heard the terrible news about Charlie Kirk,” Governor Morrisey said. “He was a fighter, a conservative warrior, and a friend. Please join Denise and I in praying for Charlie’s family and friends.”
