DALLAS — Dallas police identified and charged a man in the beheading death of a 50-year-old man at an east Dallas motel .

Wednesday, Yordanis Cobos-Martinez, 37, was charged with capital murder in connection with the killing. Police responded to a stabbing call around 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at a motel on Samuell Boulevard. They found a man who had been beheaded and arrested a suspect a short time later.

According to an arrest affidavit from the Dallas Police Department, Cobos-Martinez became upset with 50-year-old Chandra Nagamallaiah, then produced a machete and began attacking him. He kept hitting him until he was decapitated, a witness told WFAA.
