AMANDA Balionis has announced the terrifying private health battle she has been fighting recently.

Balionis has also revealed the final Hail Mary she is throwing to try to overcome her issues.

She posted to social media that she has been struggling with a worrying spinal problem.

The 39-year-old has covered a variety of sports with CBS over the past decade.

And is part of the network's team for the 2025 NFL season.

But the NFL sideline reporter opened up on her Instagram about her health ahead of her first assignment of the season.

The injury update explained that she is suffering from a pinched nerve in the neck.

This is caused by a vertebra or disc in the upper part of the spine [C4/C5 level] squeezing a nerve.
