Delaware State Police are charging a 45-year old man with vehicular assault and DUI in connection to an incident Tuesday afternoon, September 9, 2025, in the parking lot of St. Georges Technical High School.

Around 3 p.m. the school resource officer was notified of a car driving erratically in the parking lot, but by the time the officer got outside, the car had become disabled after hitting three occupied vehicles.

A 42-year old Middletown man was hospitalized with serious injuries, and a 55-year old Delaware City woman suffered non-life threatening injuries.

No students or staff were hurt.

Andrew Naylor was arrested after being released from the hospital. He was released on a $1,100 unsecured bond.
