WHITESTOWN, Ind. — A Boone County judge sentenced two people for their roles in a road rage shooting on Interstate 65 near Whitestown on July 2024.

James O. Brown, 45, of Indianapolis, was sentenced to 30 years in prison after a jury found him guilty of attempted murder and aggravated battery.

Kendra Johnson Brown, 45, of Indianapolis, was sentenced to eight years in prison after a jury found her guilty of aiding aggravated battery.

On July 3, 2024, Boone County sheriff's deputies responded to a report of a semi truck that had swerved off I-65 and crashed onto Perry Worth Road near the exit to Whitestown Parkway.
