LAKE TAHOE (KOLO) - 21 arrest warrants were served on Thursday as part of a multi-year operation targeting cartel supplied gangs in the Tahoe area.
Law enforcement officials say they made arrests in El Dorado County, Alpine County, Douglas County and Washoe County as part of Operation Daisy Cutter.
One of the search warrants was served by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office on Thursday. They say Noah and Toby Paul were arrested in Minden on fugitive arrest warrants out of El Dorado County.
The DCSO says those arrested include Norteno gang leaders and associates of those accused of trafficking drugs and attempting to recruit middle and high school students. Police say some exploited male recruits to gain access to underage girls.
