Police believe a heated argument led to the death of a 29-year-old man earlier this month.

TAMPA, Fla. – Tampa Police have arrested a man in connection with a fatal shooting that took place on September 1. Jamarcus Harris, 22, was taken into custody without incident on Thursday morning and charged with murder and felon in possession of a firearm.

Just before 7:30 p.m. on September 1, officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 4700 block of Citrus Crescent. They found a 29-year-old man with gunshot wounds. Despite immediate medical aid from both Tampa Police and Tampa Fire Rescue, the victim died at the scene.
