Around 250 players from schools, community groups, friends and voluntary organisations took to the pitches at Ravenscraig for North and South Lanarkshire’s annual seven-a-side football tournament marking World Suicide Prevention Day.
The event wasn’t just about the football; the day was about raising awareness, tackling stigma, and reminding people that support is always available.
North Lanarkshire Provost Kenneth Duffy said: "Events like this show the power of community in tackling really difficult issues.
