COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - A verdict has been reached in the trial for the 2020 murder of Alex Bales Davis.

In a courtroom Thursday morning, a jury found Kendaryl Rogers guilty on all charges that includes malice murder and felony murder.

Marquise Hawkins was found not guilty on all charges.

Kendaryl Rogers and Marquise Hawkins were accused of a drive-by shooting that took place in August 2020. That shooting claimed the life of Alex Bales Davis and injured the driver of the vehicle.

Rogers’ sentencing will come at a later date.
