Sarnia FC U12 boys win Lightning Cup

Sarnia FC beat the Michigan Jaguars in the final to finish with a 4-0-0 record while playing 11-on-11 soccer for the first time.

Sarnia C reached the gold-medal game with wins over the Michigan Stars Oakland, MDA Academy and Michigan Stars Macomb.

Goalkeeper Andrew Shortt allowed only one goal in the tournament.

“FC played fantastic soccer all weekend, with their passing and team play being top-notch,” coach Errol White said.
