MONTCALM COUNTY, MI – Michigan State Police are investigating a woman’s death in Montcalm County after she was struck by a vehicle.
The crash happened around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 10, in Maple Valley Township.
Troopers were called for a report of a vehicle vs. pedestrian crash near Coral and Gravel Ridge roads.
Police said a 60-year-old Coral woman was stopped in a westbound lane when she exited her vehicle. She was in the eastbound lane when she was struck by a vehicle driven by a 32-year-old Howard City man.
The woman, who was not immediately identified, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
