PORTLAND, Ore. — The man that killed his mother and 10-year-old sister before taking his own life over the weekend in Portland has been identified as 22-year-old Miguel Morgan, Portland police said Thursday morning.

Miguel shot and killed his mother, Maria Florencia Rubio, 48, and his sister Liliana Morgan at their home last Saturday. Officers responded to the home on Southeast 64th Avenue just after 5 p.m. Saturday evening, and found three people dead with apparent gunshot wounds.

No other details around their deaths have been released. Portland police initially reported the mother's age to be 46, but later corrected it.

Neighbors and loved ones have since built a growing memorial outside the family's home, leaving flowers and balloons along the fence.
