In a lab that resembles a mix between a garment factory and a robotics lab, a team of researchers is developing a wearable robot to help patients with ALS or who have suffered a stroke to move their upper limbs, while simultaneously learning from their movements.

Researchers from the lab of Connor Walsh at the Harvard University's School of Engineering and Applied Science recently published a new study about the wearable robot. The device is one of many wearable devices developed at the lab, which specializes in human-centered assistive robotic devices for those with movement impairments.
