Police pursuit: Northcliffe Road

At 1:45 a.m. Aug. 22, Parma police pursued a black Dodge Charger into University Heights.

The vehicle crashed into a tree on Northcliffe Road near Canterbury Road, damaging the city-owned tree.

The driver, a Cleveland man, 33, was arrested by Parma police.

He was also issued a UHPD citation for driving without a license, driving under suspension, failure to control and reckless operation.

Parma police also took into custody the car’s 30-year-old passenger, a Lakewood woman.

Suspicion: Hillbrook Road

At 8:05 p.m. Aug. 21, a 37-year-old Warrensville Heights man went to the University Heights police station to report concerning social media posts depicting possible criminal activity involving his 16-year-old son.
