BOSTON —

Traffic was backed up on Soldiers Field Road near the Harvard Athletics Complex on Thursday afternoon after a truck struck the Anderson Memorial Bridge.

The overheight truck, which was marked with the name of a restaurant supply company, was seriously damaged by the 10-foot bridge. The roof was curled up like a tin can and the box of the truck appeared to be torn from the chassis. Latest Forecast

A tow truck was being used to remove the debris as Sky5 flew overhead.

Sky5 flew overhead and saw heavy traffic along Soldiers Field Road, with all vehicles being diverted around the bridge through the ramp to North Harvard Street.
