Several types of Italian cookies are being recalled due to undeclared allergens, according to notices from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

Gina Marie Bakery of Waterbury, Connecticut, is recalling 1- and 2-pound packages of cookies because they contain undeclared almonds, sesame seeds, and food dyes.

People with allergies to these ingredients risk serious or potentially life-threatening reactions if they consume the products, according to the administration.

The recalled cookies were distributed to numerous retailers across Connecticut and parts of Massachusetts, including Big Y, Stop and Shop, Labonne’s Supermarkets, Adam’s Markets, Highland Park Markets, Price Chopper, and many others, the FDA said.
