SANDERSVILLE, Ga. — A 37-year-old Sandersville man was arrested Thursday after deputies say they found about a pound of meth, a gun and a large amount of cash during a search of the home, according to the Washington County Sheriff's Office.

They say it happened on Clemmon Street in Sandersville.

According to Washington County Sheriff Joel Cochran , Jerroid Russell was arrested and faces several charges, including trafficking methamphetamine, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, and being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm.

Authorities say they also seized what they described as a felony amount of marijuana, drug paraphernalia including scales, cash, and a gun.
