Thursday marks 24 years since the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.

New York City is remembering the nearly 3,000 victims with multiple ceremonies and tributes throughout the day.

The annual Reading of the Names ceremony was held at the World Trade Center Thursday morning.

Many politicians were in attendance, including former Mayor Rudy Giuliani, seen publicly after being involved in a car crash recently, as well as former Mayor Michael Bloomberg and current Gov. Kathy Hochul.

Mayor Eric Adams, and mayoral candidates Zohran Mamdani and Andrew Cuomo, were also spotted in the crowd.

A special remembrance was also held in Midtown at Engine 54, where 15 firefighters died on Sept. 11, 2001, more than at any other firehouse in the city. A total of 343 city firefighters died in the attacks on the
