It’s been seven years in the making, but Cardi B’s second album, Am I the Drama?, officially drops tomorrow. The woman who has said, “I work hard for my money,” is pulling out every stop to get people to plop down their cold-hard cash (or credit cards or mobile wallet) for her latest collection of songs.
In a new post on Instagram, Cardi, dressed for office business Wednesdays, shares that due to the costs of her “Imaginary Playerz” music video, Atlantic Records has adjusted the amount she has left to spend on the upcoming album’s marketing. After opening the envelope with much fanfare, the “Bodak Yellow” singer announces the remaining budget is $50.
