U.S. Capitol Police searched Democratic National Committee (DNC) headquarters on Capitol Hill on Thursday after a bomb threat was received and then found to be “not credible,” the party said.
Senate offices received a notice informing staff to avoid the headquarters as police responded to an “incident.”

“Capitol Police are responding to an incident at the Democratic National Committee (DNC) Headquarters. Staff are asked to remain clear of the police activity. More updates are forthcoming as the situation evolves,” the message said.
