KINGWOOD, W.Va. (WBOY) — Two people have been arrested and are facing charges following a high-speed chase in Preston County earlier this week that damaged WVU Farms property and yielded nearly a pound of meth.
According to a release from the Preston County Sheriff's Office, on Sept. 9, deputies spotted Vince McMillen, 40, and Amanda Kidd, 43, picking up a woman along Kingwood Pike near the WVU Farm. Deputies said McMillen had a parole hold and had recently fled from law enforcement in a vehicle around a week prior.
Deputies attempted to stop McMillen in the white Ford F-150 he was driving, but he once again fled from them, leading to a pursuit on Kingwood Pike. During the pursuit, deputies said McMillan "drove at a high rate of speed in reverse" and ran off the road into a WVU Farms fen
