Chinese vehicle makers dominated the floor at the 2025 International Motor Show Germany, where electric cars were front and centre.

Vehicle makers from across the globe gathered in Munich to showcase the latest and greatest in the automotive industry.

News Corp’s head of motoring content David McCowen said electric vehicles took the spotlight at the show where major Chinese vehicle makers were spotted alongside classic European brands like Porsche and BMW.

“There was plenty going on,” Mr McCowen told Business Now.

“The Europeans put on a really brave face with plenty of new models, pretty much all of them electric, but I think behind the scenes there are some real challenges there.”
