Auburn football will sport a rarely seen look when it takes the field against South Alabama this Saturday.

The Tigers will wear white uniforms, something the program hasn’t done at home since 2008, the team announced in a video on X (formerly Twitter).

The last time Auburn wore white at home was a 2008 matchup against UT-Martin, a game the Tigers won 37-20. Saturday’s white jerseys will coincide with the program’s marketing department encouraging fans to wear white to the game.

It’s also Auburn’s annual homecoming game and the final home game in nearly a month, with the Tigers not scheduled to return to Jordan-Hare Stadium until it’s matchup with Georgia on Oct. 11.

Saturday’s game against South Alabama is set to kick off at 11:45 a.m. The matchup will be televised on SEC Network.
