MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCBD) – Authorities arrested a Florida man accused of robbing a Mount Pleasant home in an incident that was caught on camera, the Mount Pleasant Police Department said Thursday.

John Albert Williams III is charged with burglary in the first degree, possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime, and possession of a firearm by a prohibited individual.

Officers with the Hardeeville Police Department arrested Williams on Friday, Sept. 5, for charges unrelated to the Mount Pleasant burglary. The Mount Pleasant Police Department is working to serve its warrants for Williams and bring him to Charleston County for prosecution.
