GIBSON COUNTY, Ind. (WEVV) — Another Tri-State school district is investigating an employee's online posts following the fatal shooting of political activist Charlie Kirk.
In Kentucky, the Owensboro Public Schools district said it was looking into social media posts made by a teacher, after the teacher's remarks sparked backlash on Facebook.
Now, officials at the South Gibson School Corporation say they're looking into a similar incident.
According to South Gibson School Corporation Superintendent Dr. Bryan A. Perry, the district was made aware of social media posts following Kirk's death, and is investigating the matter.
The full statement from Supt. Perry reads:
"The South Gibson School Corporation is aware of social media posts made by a school employee concerning the tragic eve
