AUSTIN (KXAN) — Buda Hays puts its undefeated record on the line against Hendrickson on the road in Thursday's KBVO Game of the Week. Kickoff is slated for 7:30 p.m. at The Pfield in Pflugerville.

Buda Hays enters the game 2-0, edging Pflugerville 35-31 last week behind the strength of a punishing running attack that gained 6.3 yards per carry with four touchdowns. It was a balanced effort — no rusher had more than 72 yards — and three players found the end zone. Gabriel Peach led the way with 72 yards on 14 carries with a score, and quarterback Tacoma Ames scored twice on eight carries for 38 yards. Eyan Stigall gained 63 yards on nine attempts, and Troy Wright made the most of his touches with 52 yards on two carries and a touchdown.
