Prime Minister Mark Carney says his government’s Major Projects Office is fast-tracking five nation-building projects that represent investments of more than $60 billion and create thousands of well-paying jobs by streamlining regulatory assessment and approvals and helping to structure financing.
“With the first in a series of new projects, we will build big, build now, and build Canada strong,” he said in a statement on Thursday.
