MADISON, Ala. (WHNT) - The Madison City Police Department, in collaboration with local company Re-Bath, is providing a free bathroom renovation for a Madison County resident with special needs who struggles with limited mobility.

Re-Bath has dedicated $18,000 to the project, which aims to make the resident’s home safer and more accessible. Madison police say the initiative underscores their mission of service both on and off duty.

“This project showcases how our officers serve in many capacities,” the department said in a statement. “We’re building connections, supporting residents, and partnering with local businesses to make a lasting impact in the community.”
