HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — Kashonna Jenae Strong was found not guilty of murder by a Madison County jury on Thursday.

The Huntsville Police Department arrested and charged Strong with murder following a call about a shooting on Charles Drive on December 29, 2022.

According to a spokesperson with HPD, investigators believed there was a domestic dispute at the home which led to a shooting that killed 29-year-old Antonio Robinson.

Strong was indicted for murder during the July 2024 Grand Jury Term in the murder investigation of Antonio Robinson.

Her attorney, Carl Cole, had previously told News 19 that this was a case of self-defense.
