Police investigate direct threat to Nixa, Mo., animal care hospital

NIXA, Mo. (KY3) - The Nixa Police Department is investigating a threat made to a Nixa animal care hospital.

Officers responded to the Gentle Care Animal Hospital on West Aldersgate Drive on Thursday regarding what was considered an active threat. During the course of the investigation, officers learned that Christopher Rispoli, owner of Gentle Care Animal Hospital in Edmond, Oklahoma, had published a response on social media regarding the assassination of Charlie Kirk. Following that post, the Gentle Care Animal Hospital in Nixa, which has no affiliation with Rispoli or his business in Oklahoma, began receiving ongoing threats through both social media and the clinic’s phone line.
