NEW BERN, N.C. (WITN) - Police need your help finding a man who they say stole from a cannabis store.
On Thursday morning, officers were called to a theft at the Above the Roots store on South Glenburnie Road.
According to an employee, a man in all black and a black face mask walked into the store and pocketed merchandise. The employee confronted him, which led the man to spray their face and eyes with body mist before running off.
The man looks to be in his 30s and has a medium build. Authorities have yet to discover whether he was armed, but they say there is a possibility due to his behavior.
Police sent out K-9s and found the stolen items trashed by the man when he ran away.
