IOWA CITY, Iowa -- The University of Iowa will be implementing additional safety measures for fans ahead of Saturday's football game due to expected high temperatures.
The Iowa Hawkeyes face the UMass Minutemen at Kinnick Stadium on Saturday but due to projected temperatures in the 90s, a few additional measures have been implemented by the city and county. • Attendees will be allowed to enter the stadium with one sealed water bottle of any size or one empty refillable water bottle. • An expanded rest area providing cool air and water will be available outside the First Aid Station, located at the southeast corner of the stadium. • The Krause Family Plaza will have an air-conditioned tent courtesy of Johnson County Homeland Security & Emergency Management Agency. • A Johnson Count
