NEWARK, Del. — The UConn football team is on the road again this Saturday for a matchup against the Delaware Blue Hens at 3 p.m. on ESPN+.

Both teams enter the contest at Delaware Stadium with a 1-1 record.

This will be the 28th meeting between the two programs, but they haven’t faced off since 1998. Saturday will mark the first time that the teams share the field as FBS members.

UConn is coming off a difficult loss at Syracuse in which an 11-point lead with under six minutes remaining wasn’t enough to win. Meanwhile, Delaware lost at Colorado last Saturday 31-7.
