Milwaukee, Wisconsin - A driver who crashed into a vehicle, killing a college lacrosse player from Upstate New York and a teammate, was drunk, according to police.
The crash last Friday in Milwaukee killed Noah Snyder, 20, of Irving, a community south of Buffalo. The sophomore played lacrosse for Marquette University.
Snyder, a member of the Seneca Nation, also played for the Haudenosaunee Nationals U20 team. He recently played at the World Lacrosse Men’s U20 Championship on Jeju Island, Korea.
Snyder also played for the Rochester Jr. Knighthawks of the National Lacrosse League.
The other player killed was Scott Michaud, 19, of Springboro, Ohio. Four teammates in the car were injured.
