LAS VEGAS ( FOX5 ) — Metro Police say they’ve arrested a Las Vegas man for a stabbing that left his roommate dead.

Las Vegas Metro Police officers say on Sept. 6, another roommate called 911 just before four in the morning from an apartment complex near Eastern and Charleston. She reported that the man was injured, but still breathing. Police arrived to find Kyle Hughes suffering from multiple stab wounds .

Both officers and paramedics tried to revive Hughes, but police say he died at the scene.

A female roommate told officers her two male roommates got into an argument, and Hughes stabbed a man she called “Christian” first. They say she told them the fight continued with Christian stabbing the victim multiple times and then leaving the apartment.
