BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - An Ozone Action Day has been declared for southeast Louisiana on Friday due to poor air quality. Conditions will be unhealthy for sensitive groups, especially during the afternoon hours. Residents with respiratory issues are encouraged to avoid prolonged outdoor activities and exertion.

The weather will be comfortable on Friday morning, but during the afternoon, temperatures will quickly rise to the 90s. It will be a hot start to Live After 5 and Friday night football, with temperatures slowly falling around sunset.
