September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and a local group of Sacramento-area moms is rallying the community with a day of family fun for a life-saving cause.

Mama Bears Fighting Childhood Cancer will host its 2nd Annual Kids Fest on Sunday, Sept. 14, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Enchanted Cosmos in Natomas.

The free community celebration has a packed lineup: character visits, games, crafts, slime, music, dancing, food, raffles and much more.

More than 25 vendors will join the festivities, alongside singalongs, Zumbini, and over a dozen character appearances.

Kids can enjoy bounce houses, face painting, and balloon twisting.
