The New York Yankees are taking significantly stronger security measures for President Donald Trump when he appears at tonight’s game, following the horrific shooting death of activist Charlie Kirk.
While speaking at Utah Valley University on Wednesday, conservative activist and Donald Trump ally Charlie Kirk was shot and killed by an unknown gunman. Authorities are still searching for the unidentified gunman, and the FBI is offering $100,000 for any information leading to the suspect’s arrest.
President Trump will attend the Yankees’ home game against the Detroit Tigers this evening to commemorate 9/11. Following the assassination of Kirk, law enforcement and Yankee Stadium officials have decided to implement much stronger security measures for the president.
