The Mets are now 76-71, barely holding onto the last NL wild-card spot. Over the last three months, they have gone 31-46, one of the worst records in baseball during that stretch. Fans are frustrated, and manager Carlos Mendoza is feeling the pressure as his decisions are being constantly questioned after every loss.
After their loss, MLB insider Rob Parker was confident to declare that the franchise would not make it to the postseason.
