IOWA CITY, Iowa (KCRG) - Students involved in political organizations at the University in Iowa are reacting to Charlie Kirk’s murder .

Both conservative and liberal groups said the killing of Charlie Kirk was a tragedy and that a difference of beliefs doesn’t justify violence.

However - the organizations had different thoughts as to what they took away from the shooting.

One member of the conservative group called “Young Americans for Freedom” said political violence stems from people not respecting different views.
