PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) -- The Prince George's County Police Department (PGPD) is investigating a now-fatal stabbing after a man died from his injuries days after the incident.

Police said on September 8, officers responded around 7:40 a.m. to the 300 block of Bentwood Dr. for an unresponsive person.

There, officers found a man who had been stabbed and transported him to the hospital. His identity has not been released.

Three days later, on September 11, the man died from his injuries.
