Three Democratic Oregon senators received bomb threats on Thursday morning, according to an email Oregon State Police sent to state lawmakers Thursday afternoon.
The emailed threats were false, and the senators are OK, state police officials said. Explosive technicians found no bombs at the senators’ homes, the email from State Police Lieutenant Casi Hegney said. Oregon State Police are working with the Federal Bureau of Investigation and local law enforcement to figure out who sent the threats.
