ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - State lawmakers attempted to clear up confusion over vaccine availability, namely that of the COVID-19 shot, on Thursday. They heard concerns from Georgians at the state Capitol during a roundtable discussion.

Patients, especially people over the age of 65 or close to it, have had trouble finding the vaccine lately because of a lack of federal guidelines. Government recommendations to doctors, pharmacies and health groups severely limited access to the COVID-19 for people under the age of 12 and over the age of 65, requiring a prescription for the latter.
