GRAND FORKS — Grand Forks Central’s offense stole the show last Friday.

The Knights scored 39 unanswered points to defeat Jamestown 39-7, improving to 2-0 for the first time since 2004.

Central’s defense wasn't to be outdone, though. The unit flexed a few flashy plays of its own, including a game-changing pick in the second quarter.

Senior cornerback Zade Martin grabbed an interception and returned it 85 yards for a pick-six, handing the Knights a 19-7 lead before halftime.

Trey Clauson, another standout senior in the secondary, nearly came away with an interception of his own during the game.
