On this day Prime Minister Mark Carney does not stand up and say the Liberals will not bring in their planned emissions cap on oil and gas emissions.

Late in the day, Reuters does report Carney and the oilpatch and Smith are talking about scrapping the emissions cap if Alberta and the oil companies “make other environmental concessions.”
