WOODFIN, N.C. (WBTV) - An owlet stuck in the grill of a car is now recovering at a Western North Carolina rehabilitation facility.
“Hedwig” was found on Sept. 7 in Woodfin. Officers with the Woodfin Police Department said they were able to remove the owl and place him in a warm blanket. He was described as “dazed, confused and cold,” attributed to the cold weather in the mountain community.
