A man in his 40s is in serious condition after colliding with a vehicle on a motorcycle on Kapiolani Boulevard this morning.

Honolulu Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene at Kapiolani and Keeamoku Street at 8:50 a.m. today.

Upon arrival, paramedics treated the motorcyclist, estimated to be 48 ears old, for multiple injuries, and took him to the hospital in serious condition.

EMS said he was wearing a helmet.
