CINCINNATI —

One of the owners of Cincinnati’s Lucius Q BBQ restaurant is facing backlash after online comments surrounding the shooting death of conservative activist Charlie Kirk on Wednesday.

Lucius Q and other companies associated with the restaurant are distancing themselves from Aaron Sharpe, a co-owner, after his online comments that said in part “good riddance” to Kirk’s death. Advertisement

Lucius Q posted to Facebook Thursday night, explaining that the restaurant is cutting ties with Sharpe.

“Aaron Sharpe is no longer associated with Lucius Q. We found the comments he made on his personal social media pages offensive and, as a result, have severed ties with him,” the post said. This content is imported from Facebook. You may be able to find the same content in another format
