LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The first of two huge music festivals is kicking off Thursday in Louisville.

Fans from Louisville and beyond are in town for the four-day music extravaganza, Bourbon & Beyond.

The event will feature five stages with music and culinary demonstrations, along with scheduled comedy shows.

The gates didn't open until 11 a.m. on Thursday, but we found some festival veterans who arrived as early as 8 a.m.

"And I'm probably the first or second person in line," Greg Langford said. "It's the same 20-30 people every year that come there first thing in the morning, and we just sit there and talk, and look forward to this wonderful festival."
